Clubwomen are encouraged to select a Community Service Program of work wherein their interest lies. There is something for everyone who becomes a member. The six Community Service Programs are Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Outreach, and Public Issues.

Projects encouraging artistic expression, and preserving art as a natural resource.
Arts in The Community (VSA, music, drama, member craft contests)

Some local club projects- Club members donated baked goods for the Dance on the Mountain Ensemble bake sale. The club assisted a dance student with financial aid for a summer dance program. RCHS band members attended a meeting to inform us about the band program and funds were donated to four local schools for their art departments.

Projects promoting increasing awareness of energy options, preserving natural resources and education of waste management.
Beautification (Community Beautification, Litter prevention, Tree Planting/Preservation projects)
Resource Conservation (Education and Awareness (Preservation local, state, national parks, endangered ecosystems and wildlife.)
Some local club projects-Adopt-A-Highway litter pickup, landscaping at Black Rock Mountain State Park, observing Earth Hour, Earth Day and America Recycles Day by distributing recycling and conservation materials at club meetings, donating a reusable cloth bag to all club members, attending an Arbor Day ceremony, and clean up at Warwoman Dell picnic area.

Literacy (Adult, Family, Youth/Aspire)
Lifelong Learning (Club and Community Awareness and Education), (HOBY, ESO, Support Libraries, Libraries 2000)
Some local club projects-granting scholarships to local students, partnering with Clayton Woman's Club to host a Mentor Breakfast at Rabun County Middle School, volunteering at school events, collecting Boxtops, Campbell's UPCs, and Coke codes for local schools, serving on and donating to the Rabun County Community Action Team of the Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy, supporting the Rabun County Elementary School Reading Bowl Team, supporting a FIRST Lego League team, and sponsoring a student to attend an education program in Washington, DC.

Some local club projects-volunteering with Richard's Kids to shop for children and families in need, volunteering at mobile food pantries to distribute 10,000 lbs of food to families, partnering with the local post offices for the Stamp Out Hunger program, participating in blood and bone marrow drives, adopting residents of the Mountain View home at Christmas, and creating a basket for a Habitat for Humanity fundraiser.

Some local club projects-Organizing, printing, and distributing WHALE (We Have A Little Emergency) child safey packets to parents and caregivers at preschools and during carseat safety checks, encouraging members to vote in all elections, donating to the Rabun County Historical Society, supporting the Welcome Home Hero project, distributing materials on domestic violence at club meetings, donating children's items to the local domestic violence shelter, and supporting the Mountaineer Festival.

2010-2012 Jr. Clubs Special Project Family Literacy
Local club projects-member of the Rabun County Community Action Team of the Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy which provides free books for children mailed to their home until their fifth birthday, member of Friends of the Library, and club members are encouraged to participate in Georgia Reads Aloud Day and Read Across America Day.
