The Clayton Climate Savers shared their FIRST Lego League project with us at the November meeting. Team members present were Milas and Marcus Thompson, Zachary and Jeremy Nash, Garrett and Grayson Lane and Clayton Moore.

Drought and Salamanders is the topic of the project. The team made this salamander from recyclables.
The team explains how to use the "roll-out pond" to enhance salamander habitat.

Laura Lane (far right) attended the Georgia Federation of Women's Club State Institute meeting at UGA on August 23rd with Sheila Wells, Linda Johnson, Mildred Whittaker, and Betsy Baste of the Clayton Woman's Club.
We participated in the national Stamp Out Hunger campaign on May 10, 2008, with our postal carriers and delivered the donated food to the local foodbank at Sharing and Caring.

Several RCHS band members spoke at the January 2008 club meeting. We presented the band with a check to help cover expenses for the trip to perform in Washington, DC in April. A donation was presented to Chelcey Bleckley at the December meeting to assist her with the People to People Student Ambassador program.
